Our ledge and brace cottage style doors are made to your sizes, just give us the width and height of the door you require and we'll get it made for you.
Our ledge and brace doors are made from kiln dried softwood, using lovely wide planks with very few knots.
These doors look great waxed, stained or varnished.

All of our doors are made to order, due to this fact we have a lead time of 6 weeks from point of order on all doors.
Our Ledge and brace doors are made from planks of solid pine tongue and grooved timber which are kept in place by three horizontal ledges and have two diagonal planks fitted between the horizonal ledges; these are known as the braces.
Our doors come to you in the bare timber, sanded and ready for you to finish; stain, wax, varnish or paint.
Our ledge and brace doors are 20mm thick, with 20mm thick ledges and braces on the rear of the door.
Made from sustainable high quality kiln dried redwood pine.
Consructed using 8 inch wide boards, a standard 30 inch or 762mm wide door would have 4 boards to the front of the door.
No random width boards used.
Each plank is tongue and grooved with a pencil bead down one edge on the front of the plank, the rear of the boards are flush.
All boards are screwed and glued, the screws are then filled over.
We offer delivery via a national courier, the charge for this is £45 for the first door and an additional £15 for each additional door.
