Our handmade ledge and brace doors are made from solid kiln dried pine.

We make our ledge and brace doors to a traditional design using wide boards rather than random width boards.

The timber we use is all kiln dried to give stability to the timber and is of the highest grade redwood. We sort through each piece of timber by hand, any pieces with imperfections are discarded as part of our quality control.

Each door is made in a traditional way using tongue and groove boards with a pencil bead down the front face. Each board is just over eight inches wide.

The planks and ledges are all 20mm thick, the finished product is a good sturdy door.

Our ledge and brace doors are all made to your exact sizes. We make everything from scratch so that every door fits your existing doorframes perfectly.

These doors will arrive to you as bare timber, all sanded and ready for you to add your desired finish.

As all doors are made to order our lead time is approximately 6 weeks.
